About Me

This is me with our my heart-dog, Emerson, on the day we brought him home. I miss that big, fluffy goofball.

My name is Kari. Sort of like “Carrie” but with a K instead of a C, and with an AH instead of an AY, and only one R, and an I instead of an IE.

I live in the midwest with my husband, our grown-up kids, a dog, and a cat. Sometimes I write about my life and occasionally about funny things that I observe in the world. Sometimes I forget about blogging and write nothing at all for months at a time. Sorry, that’s just how I do.
